At Monday’s Creative Writing and Poetry Assembly we heard some beautiful poetry and creative presentations from many of our students.
Class 2 and 3 told about their visit to the Butte du Lion in a poem.
Class 4 performed “A Message in a Bottle for Napoleon”.
Class 5 presented a creative story ‘ A day in the life of a nurse’ written by Salwa and Noé read his acrostic using the name of Napoleon.
Class 6 gave us a musical dialogue with rhythmic cups.
Class 7 created their own narrative poems of the Battle of Waterloo and chose the poems of Marine and Libby to represent the class work in the assembly.
Secondary students presented their descriptive writing pieces they wrote for book week; Alexis – IGCSE 1 and Tasnim – MY 2. The winners of the poetry competition, poems about the Battle of Waterloo, was announced and the winners read their poems for us. 1st Aryan – MY 1, 2nd Stacey – A Level, 3rd Al – MY 3. To finish Noe gave a presentation about the Battle of Waterloo.
