Team Building in Secondary Assembly

The theme of the secondary assembly last Friday was ¨Teamwork¨. Each class made up a team. Each of the 6 teams was give a deck of card with simple instructions: Work as a team to build the highest tower of cards. Each team interpreted the instructions differently with some VERY creative results!

Studying Rates of Respiration Watching the plants grow! Biology AS level students today conducted an experiment where they investigated the uptake of water by the stem of a plant. They investigated factors such as leaf area and wind to measure the rate of transpiration in a plant.

The children have enjoyed Book Week so far this week.  This year the theme is ‘The Battle of Waterloo’ to kick start our participation in the bicentenary celebrations of the battle.On Tuesday the Primary and Middle Years students also enjoyed the visit of Priscilla Howe an American story teller.

ISF helping in the Community

On Saturday, 6 December 2014,  ten ISF Waterloo students from IGCSE and A-Level took ISF Waterloo donations to Plaisirs de Servir and then participated as volunteers in Serve the City’s Big Volunteer Day.
