Hands covered in charcoal, minds full of creativity! 

Year 7 students explored animal forms using willow charcoal today as part of our ‘What is Art’ unit, bringing High Quality Learning to life through every mark, blend, and stipple.

They took charge of their learning (Lead) and evaluated their progress. The students experimented with expressive line work and balanced light and shadow.

Great technique comes from bold, messy experimentation!
